Hi there!

Well, the loud noises seem to be from the exaust, so thats good news! I guess I was really tired, and feeling fatalistic. So I need to find the gasket that goes in the exaust. Steve and Brian said that it was good that I didn't drive it anymore. I think would like to do the Jetta belt set up Robert was talking about. I need to do all possible to get rid of these vibrations before going to Florida. Brian is going to get new bolts and nylon lock nuts to put the bolts back in the compressor for now. I am giving up on rear air conditioning. That space would be nice to have for the trip. If I want air conditioning in the future, I can always the up front type. Thank you for listening to my rant yesterday! I am sorry if I scared and worried you. These vibrations are REALLY getting to me! I am afraid that my van will fall apart if I don't get them taken care of before our trip. Ok, I will try to keep you updated. Thanks again!
