<html><div style='background-color:'><DIV> <DIV> <DIV> <DIV> <DIV>Hello Volks,</DIV> <DIV>I just wanted to pass along some info about a windshield installer in San Diego.&nbsp; I went down down to the US/México Border to do some junkyard shopping yesterday.&nbsp; For those of you in other parts of the country, there is probably&nbsp;20 junkyards over a 5 mile radius in this area.&nbsp; It is a wild sight.&nbsp; Unfortunately I only came across a half dozen stripped Vanagons.&nbsp; </DIV> <DIV>&nbsp;</DIV> <DIV>However I did notice that there were several auto-glass installers as well.&nbsp; I choose J&amp;R's Auto Glass (825 Energy Way in Chula Vista, (619)656-9011) on a recommendation from a local mechanic that I know.&nbsp; It was $115 out the door.&nbsp; So low it is scary, but I thought I would live on the edge.&nbsp; The guy was really nice and it only took him about&nbsp;5 minutes to do the job.&nbsp; He said he was faster than In and Out Burger and he was right.&nbsp; He didn't use any glue or silicone when putting it in (I'm not even sure if that is necessary) so email me for status report if you are thinking about having him put one in your van.&nbsp; We'll see what happens when it rains.&nbsp; By the way&nbsp;he put in new after market glass.&nbsp; I believe it was made in China.&nbsp; It is probably not the best piece of glass I could have put in, but for those of you on a budget it is a good alternative.</DIV> <DIV>cheers,&nbsp;</DIV> <DIV>luke in ob&nbsp;</DIV></DIV></DIV></DIV></DIV></div><br clear=all><hr>MSN 8 with <a href="http://g.msn.com/8HMRENUS/2740">e-mail virus protection service: </a> 2 months FREE*</html>
