Don't have time to be in that business now, but clearly a mass produced assembly line is the best way to make them. Everything is easy except the little hump near the ends that the hose clamp needs to not slip off. I guess that should be a ring welded on the outside edge only, so it seals, yet the weld bead doesn't occur at the critical point near the hose clamp. Titanium is nifty and non corroding at these temps, but machining is different than steels, and I have no tooling for that. Welding Ti is OK, you just need to back purge (total shielding with argon).</DIV>

<P>And when you say have been leaking for years, what do you mean exactly? Puddles? Corrosion? A picture of this would be interesting. Its curious to know that they could be leaking for years and you can drive them for years. How much and how often do you add water/coolant. </P>
