Is the bus depot already flooded with e-mail? It looks like both my e-mail to them (fabric and sink cover please :-) bounced and their site is temporarily down...
like frightening wolves at the hunt...

Vanagon parts from Germany has arrived! This is the stuff that I went to
Europe and hand-picked myself back in December. I was like a kid in a candy
store! Imagine, a warehouse full of long-forgotten Vanagon parts, still in
the original cartons, ripe for the picking! It took days to sort through it
all; for every worthwhile part there were 20 more that were practically
worthless for one reason or another. But it was worth it. This is
definately the biggest stash of N.O.S. Vanagon parts I've ever found; an
opportunity that doesn't come up more than once or twice in a lifetime.
All of it is genuine Westfalia and Volkswagen stock, which had been sitting
in a warehouse for years, long forgotten and collecting dust ever since the
last Vanagon left the production line. Most, but not all, are interior
parts. A few are optional accessories that have never been seen in the U.S.
before. There is original Volkswagen seat upholstery still in the original
packaging, door panels, curtains, poptop canvas, tail lights, tables, even
genuine Westfalia side tents (sans poles, unfortunately) and a ski rack!
Rather than to list it all here, I put up a special List Members' web page,
http://www.busdepot.com/members.htm .
I'm giving Vanagon and Syncro list members first crack at this stuff. So
for a short time, the parts will be coded not to appear on the regular Bus
Depot web pages, nor will there be any links to the above page from
BusDepot.com. In a couple of weeks, however, the general public will get
to pick through what's left (most likely at higher prices).
Happy hunting! :-)
