Subject: front heater-what else to work on, where to find instructions
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

I have been lurking and reading all the talk about the nasty job of replacing the front heater motor & fan. I have a few questions I haven't yet read the answer to

1. There was a reference to David Beierl's instructions. Where are these posted?

2. There has been mention of little clips. Are these necessary parts for the job? How many? Any other parts needed?

3. Is there any general consensus on other jobs that should be done whle the dash is apart?

It has been lovely and 50 degrees here in the Salt Lake valley and I hope to undertake this lovely job out in the drive way next week.

Thanks,

Doug D. 86 vanagon SLC, UT
