For those of you just dying to know.
Its a five rib transmission.
Jim Arnott says its the toughest box ever put in a vw .............. hope
so.
Now for the genuine guru; what high end gear should I expect ? (getting
ready to buy tires, currently has 215 x 75 R 14" tires on it.) It drives
good with them and seems to have plenty of gear / power left at 70 mph.
Thanks to all of you folks that replied.
