Yesterday, in a p-mail, someone asked me to choose my words with some measure 
of propriety.  With all the reserve I can muster, I have to say that what is 
recommended here is so patently stupid that it may qualify as negligent.  
People, REMOVE THESE ASININE IDEAS FROM YOUR CONSCIOUSNESS; they are futile 
and a recipe for potential disaster.

I was going to provide a litany of reasons why this scheme is so completely 
inane, but instead I'll ask one and all to think about a few things:

What chance is there that this atomized lubricant, carried by the air flow, 
buffeted about by the eddy currents of laminar flow, is going to flush away 
the dirt and soak into the self-lubricated bronze bearings?

Is it really a good idea to spray an atomized form of God-knows-what, 
propelled by God-knows-what into an enclosure containing a sparking set of 
electrical brushes?

Will your kiddies be sucking up a molecular form of residual God-knows-what 
every time the windshield is defogged?

Do you really think it is a good idea to obstruct the air flow to a fan 
cooled motor?

And, perhaps the most pointed question of them all, does this suggestion 
sound like it is the product of a competent and prudent mind?

Just think about it, People.
