Funny... I just recently read about this in a auto magazine here.

I can't remember the details, but I also think that they suggested having the best tread in the rear.

This got me thinking, and I went out and looked at my own tires on my Golf. Then it was no longer a decision of where to put the better ones... it was more like "get your butt out to the tire store and get 4 new tires".

I think we all often underestimate the importance of tires for driving safety... but after getting those new tires, I felt like I was driving in a formula 1 race car... they were actually sticky to the touch!

This is all coming from someone who usually deletes any message on the list which has the word "tire" in it... so maybe I have just now seen the light.

Anyway, if you have some questionable tires, I think it is a very wise investment to go for it and get new ones.

Of course if you only get 2 new ones... then where do you put the 2 remaining old ones???

damn.

IMPORTANT!!! In order to reply to me, you must have the word "FISH" somewhere in the subject line of the email. Otherwise it goes directly in the trash.
