Well first of all. I dont intend to put it in my Van. Mine will be getting a G60 longblock with a turbo. I asked for a customer. Im not concerned with the price of the charger or rebuilding them. My main concrn is with respect to clearance for the rear deck. The oil feed line can easliy be retapped. Either way the oil going to the charger is pressure fed. That would be like saying that your engine is going to blow up because all of the cam oil lube holes are on the bottom of the cam (this of course being in reference to 4cyl inline VW engines). I am also curious how you feel that the power characteristics of the G60 is not a good match for the Vanagon. I would think it would be jsut right. Esp. on the freeway where my tach says that I am doing 3600 rpm @ 70mph.
