<P>Hi Matthew- You may have a defective timer switch. I can repair these and I have good used ones to sell.. </P>
<P>To disable the heater temporarily, pull the fuse in the black plastic fuse holder with a black or red wire going to it. Or, pull the plug from the back of the switch. If the heater still goes on, then we can assume the switch is OK. </P>

<DIV></DIV>Started my '85 Westy today and the heater booster started also! I hadn't touched the Tempertaure Regulating Switch in months, so I was surprised to see it start up with it's distinctive noisier-than-hell sound. I don't know if I'm hearing the Combustion Air Blower, or the heater fuel pump, or the Air Circulation Blower or what ever!

<DIV></DIV>The noise shuts off when the engine if off. Then it' back full-pull when the engine starts. I can get the same noise when the engine is off, by turning on the Temperature Regulating Switch. But the damned thing seems to run on-and-on if the engine is running.

<DIV></DIV>Any help here would be great. Maybe I can simply pull a fuse?
