Time for our annual (or is it semiannual?) rehash of CV joint axle
swapping.

The simplest understanding to this swapping routine is simply to take a
wood pencil. Make an arrow pointing away from you about the center of the
pencil shaft.
Rotate the pencil 180 degrees flat on your desk and you'll see that the
loading is reversed.
A simple arrow on a gummed label attached to your drive shafts at the
onset of your axle swapping will eliminate the confusion.
Moving them left to right is your option if you think your drive wheel is
more stressful on the CV than the opposite wheel.
Frankly I'd rather think about long term replacing two CVs on the drive
wheel axle than four after they've been swapped a few times side to side.
I didn't post this for controversy I just perceive it as frugal planning.
I've had my say.
