A sure sign of obsession. Who but Vanagon owners keeps extra > engines for their vehicles? What tiny percentage of them would go to these > lengths to evaluate and diagnose engine problems outside the vehicle? --------------------------- Clip -------------------- It is all very simple; Buy a Vanagon, wreck it out, everything sells but the engine so you have surplus engines. Next step, get a six week old puppy. Buy all the proper dog training videos but she won't watch them. Get copies of 101 Dalmatians, Lady and the Tramp and she won't watch them. With all of this frustration in my life I build Vanagon Air Cooled Engines, it is therapy. First two went in my Westy at 145K and second at 320K, still got five left. I sell a few engines every year locally and sometimes install them bringing my number of engines back up to five with the exchange.

Stan
