Jayson, when you move your top lever over to the right (defrost mode) it may "bounce" back a half inch or so. It should go all the way to the right and stay there. If not then you may have to remove the cover to the right of your knees to expose the flaps of the heating box. These flaps need to close all the way in order to direct the heat to the defrosters. It might take you some time to fiddle with it and figure out exactly where the problem lies, but the levers and the flaps are most likely your culprit. In either spot something my be jammed or spring tension not locking it in place.
