Here's a write-up and some pictures of my blower motor replacement:

I used David Beierl's instructions and they worked quite well for me.  Do
get that long phillips-head screwdriver he mentions.  It's a must for
removing the left-side screws that hold the heater flap/blower assembly
against the front wall.
