15 degrees... are you talking fahrenheit??? That's only -9 celcius.

Last week it was -20 during the night here.. minus 20 celcius (that's -4 fahrenheit). I was really excited about it, because I wanted to build an ice skating rink in the backyard... I was out there at like 2am, wearing like 3 pairs of ski pants, and 16 jackets... with the gardenhose, nozzle set to heavy mist, and was having a blast. As soon as the water touched anything, it would instantly freeze over. It was so fun I even coated the side of my Vanagon to create an ice sculpture out of it. Was about a centimater thick.

Now the temps have shot up to above freezing and it has rained for 3 days. It was 5 degrees today (41 F) and the skating rink is a sad sad puddle of slush.

These temps are not normal... such an extreme temp differential drives nature insane... the buds are starting to come out on the trees right now!!

who can we blame for all this?

I personally blame President George W. Bush... but we don't even go there on the Vanagon list.

Stay warm!

IMPORTANT!!! In order to reply to me, you must have the word "FISH" somewhere in the subject line of the email. Otherwise it goes directly in the trash.
