Then it also depends on what VW aluminum you are talking about. Most VW alloy wheels use conical seat lugnuts/bolts. This allows them to install wheels with thicker mounting pads like the alloys w/o having the change the wheel studs. Pmail me w/ more specific imformation to your application.
