The Digifant II system uses the same 30someodd PSI pressure the Digijet and
Digifant systems use. Ultimately it isn't the pump that dictates pressure
it is the fuel pressure regulator. You should get a fuel pressure gauge to
check everything out (I sell these BTW) as it you don't have one it is pure
guess work to what is wrong IF you are having a fuel system problem.

Hmm I'm using a vgon fuel pump on a digifant, and sometimes it
likes to rev at me...could this be the issue?

I have never had a problem with the Vanagon fuel pump making enough pressure
for CIS. Residual pressure will be none as there is no check valve - never
seemed to be a problem for me as when you turn the key to the 15 position
the fuel pump will run for 2 seconds, so I pause, wait for it to stop then
turn the key to 50. Never any start-up problems.

never mind. I went out today, retorqued, drove it, retorqued again. Seems to
be fine. No leak. Now to figure out my system pressure problem.
If anyone is reading these emails any more, I do have a question for those
of you who have done this conversion.
What system pressures did you find with a CIS system and a vanagon fuel
pump? Is there residual pressure? Mine drops immediately to zero when I shut
off the engine. Is there a fuel pump check valve like on the A2's?
Got it into third today - lots of power!
Matt
