Why use a book? Its such a waste of paper. I just write down every helpful suggestion on the external and internal surfaces of my Vanagon. Usually bible people do this to warn every one about the end times. Well, I'm a little more pragmatic. Mark Dorm -------------------------- Clip ---------------------- My 66 Splitties has lots of notes written on the engine cover door. Since I'm not usually looking up like the bible people when I'm looking into an engine compartment, I didn't notice these notes until I had read a lot of manuals and just by chance looked up while checking the license plate light. The information there was like information sent from heaven, it had the valve settings, point settings, various replacement part numbers, the phone numbers for several parts suppliers and repair shops. I'm going to leave religion out of this but I recommend that each of you occasionally look up. Stan Wilder |
