I have been so overwelmed with p-mail regarding my Webasto parts search I have not been able to get back to everyone. In leiu of personal thanks please accept this as an aknowledgment of the tremendous "virtual" comunity we all reside in. I had one listee go so far as mail me the factory repair manual for my heater! As it turns out Webasto is still in business and some parts are likely available: http://www.webasto-thermo.com However new parts for these things require giving up an arm and a leg, and since I need those to drive I sought alternate sources. As it turns out the best source was ww.ebay.de. You can find complete webasto bbw46 (search words were "webasto bbw") heaters there for very reasonable prices. If you don't speak GGerman try http://babelfish.altavista.com/ it will work well enough to figure out what your buying and also corrispond with German sellers. Thank you to everyone who replied you know who you are. You make me proud to be a small part of this "club".
