I used that (5W50-Castrol) in my '91 Westy 2wd for three winters here in
Salt Lake. Switched to 15W50 in the summer. Very effective, no lifter
"stuff" at any time, it worked well. It gets down into the teens in winter
here usually. Noticable change especially at startup, in the cranking ease
with the syn in it.
