Yes, all 86 and newer models have the full wiring for the tach even if they did not come with one. This is because the 2.1 engines have a dual switch "dynamic oil pressure warning system". The circuit board for this is in the speedo housing and uses the same tach signal to decide which pressure switch to use depending on engine rpm. No changes to the wiring are needed to use any 2.1 cluster, tach or clock type.
