<html><div style='background-color:'><DIV> <P>Okay, this is what I was looking for</P> <P><A href="http://www.properautocare.com/autobahnmirror.html">http://www.properautocare.com/autobahnmirror.html</A></P> <P>Now as far as Multivex goes... (see below, at bottom). I don't know what to think.... does that mirror confuse you when judging if a vehicle is close or far from you? </P> <P>I noticed that in the Neatherlands blindspot mirrors are now officially required by law. Bush isn't there so thats why one isn't attached to his forehead. (He only has hindsight).</P> <P>Now I have two blindspot mirrors currently. A&nbsp;3 inch round, and a 3 1/4 inch quarter which could be thought of as being a quarter of a 6 1/2 inch round. </P> <P>With the 3 inch round, I feel like cars close appear as little specs and then suddenly they zoom up beside you. It nice to see the sky though, and the blue of the sky is deepened. </P> <P>With the 3 1/4 quarter, cars are of a better size, I can see them better, but too much of my regular mirror is eaten up, and they look like oversized sunglass split in half and stuck to my side mirrors... the side is black which is fine but the depth of this side is too great, and then it gets reflected into my regular mirror so the depth is doubled and then at night I see this big black gunk robbing my side mirrors of light... And since I have the Air-Wind-Rain things from eurocamper in my front door windows, their shape competes with the shape of the 3 1/4 and it just seems like bad baroque. No sky here. The view of the 3 inch round is actually wider even though the 3 1/4 is larger... </P> <P>&nbsp;</P> <P>&nbsp;</P> <P>&nbsp;</P> <P>&nbsp;</P> <P><BR><BR>&nbsp;</P></DIV> <DIV></DIV> <DIV></DIV>&gt;From: "Gosh, Paul MSER:EX" <PAUL.GOSH@GEMS1.GOV.BC.CA> <DIV></DIV>&gt;To: "'mark_hb@HOTMAIL.COM'" <MARK_HB@HOTMAIL.COM> <DIV></DIV>&gt;Subject: Blind spot mirror <DIV></DIV>&gt;Date: Wed, 22 Jan 2003 16:33:21 -0800 <DIV></DIV>&gt; <DIV></DIV>&gt;Mark, I read the list regularly and spotted your message. I think the link <DIV></DIV>&gt;below may be what you are looking for. I talk to the inventor in the fall as <DIV></DIV>&gt;I was thinking of buying one but I found I needed a new engine and one thing <DIV></DIV>&gt;led to another. Have the new engine now but no money. Anyway, he did not <DIV></DIV>&gt;have an off the shelf one for my 83.5 Westy so he needs a tracing and <DIV></DIV>&gt;measurements. He said that the shape (taller than wide) was not ideal for <DIV></DIV>&gt;his two current formulas but that he would have a new version by Christmas - <DIV></DIV>&gt;so we may be in luck. He wanted about $100 for a one off (pair) but would <DIV></DIV>&gt;drop the price down to his regular pricing if I could have organized maybe <DIV></DIV>&gt;10 buyers which I thought might be possible using the list (but now I am <DIV></DIV>&gt;just separated from my wife - and home computer). I have a set of his gizmos <DIV></DIV>&gt;on my 94 Toyota Land Cruiser (now my wife's). It takes a few days to get <DIV></DIV>&gt;used to them - a little dizzying at first - but after that you wonder how <DIV></DIV>&gt;you drove without them. I really miss them as the mirrors on the Westy are <DIV></DIV>&gt;crap. Huge blind spots that can hide a lurking truck let alone car or <DIV></DIV>&gt;cyclist. They are worth it - and I have to choke down a terrible exchange <DIV></DIV>&gt;rate on the US dollar. <DIV></DIV>&gt; <DIV></DIV>&gt;http://www.multivexmirror.com/ <DIV></DIV>&gt; <DIV></DIV>&gt;_____________________________________________ <DIV></DIV>&gt;Paul Gosh Manager, Data Services BC STATS <DIV></DIV>&gt;(250) 387-9221 FAX (250) 387-0329 Paul.Gosh@gems1.gov.bc.ca <DIV></DIV>&gt;Mail Address Box 9410, Stn Prov Govt, Victoria, BC V8W 9V1 <DIV></DIV>&gt;Location 1st Floor, 553 Superior Street, Victoria <DIV></DIV>&gt; <DIV></DIV>&gt;Visit BC STATS on the Internet BC Manufacturers' Directory <DIV></DIV>&gt;http://www.bcstats.gov.bc.ca http://www.made-in-bc.ca <DIV></DIV></div><br clear=all><hr>MSN 8 helps <a href="http://g.msn.com/8HMEENUS/2743">ELIMINATE E-MAIL VIRUSES. </a> Get 2 months FREE*.</html>
