I thought for sure I had the answer. We have a listmember living in Castle Valley, just up river road (hiway 128) running along the south side of The Grande (Colorado). I've corresponded with him and thought I'd saved the mail but can't find it. He may see this thread and respond. As often as I go to Moab I've never needed maint. I couldn't take care of myself so never sought help from a service garage there. One resource may be Chick at Grand Tire on the north end of town, east side of Main. The Easter weekend offroad extravaganza there has people like listee John Wessels and his Syncro so there are likely a few places who know these inside and out. Maybe Otto Lauritzen (sp) who has operated tours and the rock shop on the extreme north end of town knows. He has used vanagons for about 30+ years there. Sorry for all the ramble with no meat or even potato's ;>)
