The 1989 Spanish VW Transporter brochure has two hightop versions, a windowless delivery van and a kombi passenger van. Syncro versions of each model were also available. Both roofs look to be identical, the delivery van had an optional extended height sliding door which adds about a foot to the height of the side door opening. One of the delivery vans has dual regular height sliding doors.

I can fax you the pages out of the brochure if you would like. I also have full size scans somewhere, but not on this PC.

Anyway, here are the measurements for the 2wd models:

Exterior Height - 2.365m Width - 1.845m Length - 4.570m

The delivery van also includes cargo area dimensions:

Interior Height - 1.880m Width - 1.590m Length - 2.780m

I hope this helps.
