OK, wish Karl M hadn't moved out West but am glad he did because I don't have the money for the ultimate power transplant now anyway.

Have access to a well maintained ( Mobil 1 every 5k mi) 110k on a 1.9 TDI out of an 98 Beetle. Has a new head and 80K timing belt kit from Diesel Geek. Had the timing belt stretch and jump timing, damaging the valves but NO damage to engine. Is not mine but a close friend who has spent over $1500. and is hoping to get that back out of it. Engine is complete with pump, covers etc as he found a 10K engine out of a wreck he replaced it with. Located in Alexandria VA, just outside of Wash DC. He will ship to wherever on a pallet. P-mail me or call 301 733 1637

Now I'm not the only one wishing for mo money.
