Mine always clattered.  They may get a little quieter as the engine warms
up, but they'll never get entirely silent.  If they do they're too tight.
;)  It's the nature of solid lifters

BTW, I thought the spec for engines with sodium-filled exhaust valves was
0.006 intake, 0.008 exhaust?
