Hmm I'm using a vgon fuel pump on a digifant, and sometimes it
likes to rev at me...could this be the issue?

I have never had a problem with the Vanagon fuel pump making enough pressure
for CIS. Residual pressure will be none as there is no check valve - never
seemed to be a problem for me as when you turn the key to the 15 position
the fuel pump will run for 2 seconds, so I pause, wait for it to stop then
turn the key to 50. Never any start-up problems.

never mind. I went out today, retorqued, drove it, retorqued again. Seems to
be fine. No leak. Now to figure out my system pressure problem.
If anyone is reading these emails any more, I do have a question for those
of you who have done this conversion.
What system pressures did you find with a CIS system and a vanagon fuel
pump? Is there residual pressure? Mine drops immediately to zero when I shut
off the engine. Is there a fuel pump check valve like on the A2's?
Got it into third today - lots of power!
Matt
