It's the slider for sure, get it fixed now before you wreck your tranny. Put Redline MTL in the tranny and be happy. Rich Blak 90 Carat

Sounds and feels like the syncro's aren't doing their job. Needless to say I imagine all sorts of things could be wrong... low on fluid...famed 3-4th gear slider problem... syncro's. Can someone tell me if they recognize the symptom? The tranny runs and shifts great in all other respects... 1-2-3-4...3-2-1. It just grinds from 4th-3rd after cruising at highway speed for a while.
