Tiico advertises that their conversion will fit any Vanagon from 83.5-91. If so, they would have to be using 2 different types of hoses, one for the 83-85 engines with the steel coolant pipes, and a different hose set for the 86+ engines with the plastic pipes. The 1982 diesel coolant pipes and hoses are unique and incompatible with later models. Mike Snow |
