I'm having an intermittant miss on my I4 CIS injected GX engine. Cold-start, thermo-time switch are both working correctly, new rotor, cap, and wires, no vacuum leaks from manifolds or injector seals. It's timed about right. Fuel pressure is good. I've pulled the plug wires one by one and it doesn't seem to be cylinder specific. Do any of you experts out there know if this could be related to the Hall sensor? Do these ever partially fail? I'm thinking it's either the hall sensor or possibly a valve problem - but the fact that it seems to cross all cylinders seems to preclude valves. Any recommendations? thanks, Matt ------------------------------------- Matt Ratto Ph.D. Candidate University of California, San Diego mratto@ucsd.edu http://communication.ucsd.edu/mratto -------------------------------------- |
