i have been noticing that after a short drive i have coolant backing up into the reserve tank of my 1.9l. so i figure i let some air in the system when changing temp 2 sensor. so i have bleed the van a couple times,20-30 min. each episode, had coolant and air coming out the bleeder all times, and this time the van wanted to overheat. i've been doing this in the driveway, pretty steep so the front end is high enough. im wondering if i may have another problem cause i know i could not have let this much air in the sys. in 5 seconds... combustion gases in the coolant? any other ideas appreciated. or does it just take more attempts to bleed? ===== Scott Wilson 85 GL Westfalia __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
