Took my '82 Westy with '86 CIS GX motor for a drive today, no dripping things, loud squealing noises, or catastrophic clanking from the engine compartment - I call that success. Runs pretty well, but still needs some fine tuning. Idles a little rough and doesn't develop as much power as I think it should. Something having to do with timing and maybe mixture I think. Starts with one turn of the key, cold or hot! But I'm designating this moment as 'conversion done day'!
