nope, and nope. but there was an aftermarket ac system made by a company called BEHR that was installed in some earlier westys that was contained in the front dash and used the stock radio hole as the a/c vent outlets..very rare tho. . or you can ask Larry Chase (does he really exist? :<) he apparently had an aftermarket system installed in his late vanagon westy - "Roadhaus, the Phantom Camper"
