Well, I have bought and sold twice in Europe. Not a big deal, but they want to make sure that you have insurance paid up licence fees. You can buy on eBay and resell at the end the same way. I presently have one waiting for me at the seller's place for my next vacation. But I am not trying to resell again. It is great to have one over there and know that there is a place to sleep and a car to drive. It is already equipped with all kind of spare parts and tools and all the things you ever need. It is probably easier to sell than buy, because you don't have to meet some rules with that. It is the buyer who would meet rules. My preference is the air cooled engine with carburetors. The newer models are water cooled and they can have endless troubles that you don't need anywhere in foreign land where the service is rare and less knowledgable than you are. Only the oil is to watch. Those you can pick up for less than two thousand and they are usually very well kept, because they have to go for a mechanical test every two years.
