If you are comfortable with the chance that you may have to pull the engine back out and redo something, then go for it. That's how I learned with the aircooled. But it's was what I wanted to do, so no big deal. If I was to do a watercooled, I would buy a few things from Boston Bob, just so I could ask him questions. Joe
