Hi All,

My son is selling his 1984 Vanagon GL. He used it for four years of college and put on approximately 50,000 miles (about 80% highway between Dartmouth, MA to Rochester, NY).

Here are the particulars:

Two Toned Blue (light blue - dark blue) Blue 7 passenger interior Air Conditioning - upgraded 3 years ago to R134 refrigerant) 200k Miles - 55k on rebuilt heads 20k miles on tires starter replaced this August alternator replaced this November Body has some surface rust in the usual places 3 year old Die Hard battery Brakes replaced 15k miles Front to rear coolant pipes upgraded with later style plastic pipes

Runs and drives well.

Spare, new water pump and thermostat (never installed)

VW Museum Birth Certificate - built July 23, 1984 (so its one of the last of the 84s)

He is the third owner. The first owner was a VW mechanic. The second used the Vanagon for transport at their vacation home in Ketcham, Idaho. They replaced the GL with a Synchro. My son purchased the Vanagon in November of 1998.

Selling price - $1800 or best offer.

If interested, email me.

Thanks.

Ric
