Well, I put exactly 1753 miles on my '90 T-Bird last year.  I know
because it turned 100,000 on the way to pick buy my '90 Westy on New
Years Day.. checked it on New Years Day this year.  Put about 6,000 on
the Westy, mostly on the road.  If the owner was sick for ten years the
milage is very possible.  Now if on physical inspection the pedal wear,
carpets, atc. Contradict that 27,000 number, beware.
BTW, an '86 would be at least 16 years old, maybe 17.
