That USED to be my Syncro Westfalia! It is the one we imported from Germany with the dual differential locks. We installed a 1.9L Turbo Diesel from a 1995/6 Jetta in it.

Yup, it is very able and it was in great shape - some seam rust was starting on it so the person who bought it is getting it all fixed up.

I bought a replacement Syncro Westfalia Joker. It should be here at the end of April.

Downtown Victoria today, I saw a white westy, syncro, TD, with (I think, didn't check tire size) 16" wheels.

Had Fulda knobby tires and was at paint shop, just freshly painted.

It looked very nice, very able.

Owned by anyone on the List? (I asked body shop owner, he gave me a name but I don't want to broadcast).

Alistair
