They take a barrel full of unwashed anchovies and whatever is caught in the net with them. Add liberal doses of sea salt. Let sit and pickle for a few months. Then drain the "sauce" from the bottom via a tap into recycled rum bottles. Pho your information the stuff taste great with fried fish. And it's not bad with boiled beef soup. In the later you have to mix the sauce with lemon juice. I've heard that in a pinch a certain TK in Chicago has used it as both airfreshener and aftershave. Keeps the kitties close at hand.

Please keep this stuff out of your friendly neighbor's airvents. Otherwise they may total out their Vanagon (RVC) due to the resulting olfactory assault.
