Agreed....I call it a "bear-gun", and it is. But, it's also self-protection from people who forget to take their M.D.-prescribed medication. I have both a baseball bat and a 12 gauge pump with slug ammo. I've never shot anything or anyone, but don't think I would hesitate to do the right thing in the right situation. Talking and negotiation come first. Diplomacy really does work. I've had people pull into my camping spot at the end of a dirt road at 2 a.m., flashing their lights, honking their horn because they had "self-medication onboard", out to prove Forrest Gump's mom was right. I'm not going to carry the banner for the rest of us, but do think some of us, sometimes have to set limits and boundaries for those still possessed of infantile paralysis.
