eric,
it's important to know what fuel. did i miss something? gas, diesel,
kerosene white gas that exotic jet fuel?

i can tell you that aprox 15" of a "water column" will be about a half
pound of pressure....so it depends on the weight  of the fuel.  looks
like about 90" or more if its lighter than water.
that tower is going to look pretty cool on top of your van.

Subject: Heater fuel pressure question

More interesting mechanical heater question for
the math gurus out there:
    OK, I'm installing this fuel heater and it requires
at lease 3 PSI of fuel pressure by way of an external
electrical fuel pump.   The way I figure the batteries will be
dead way before I run low on fuel. SO I'm trying to
cut out as much battery drain as possible.  I'm thinking
that I may be able to raise the fuel tank high enough
to get the pressure I need.  Assuming the fuel has the
same weight as water, how high would it have to be?
And for that matter would there have to be a minimum
amount of fuel in the tank at all times?
