My Syncro DoKa has a Volt and Oil Temp gauge installed in the plastic panel just below the diff locks. I will be relocating the Volt gauge to the spot just next to the cig lighter socket and installing a boost gauge under the diff locks in the volt meters place once I get my hybrid-AAZ whistling in the back. I will be installing a pyrometer and oil pressure gauge soon - just have to decide where to mount them so they won't look out of place. I don't think you need an Amp Meter or a Water Pressure gauge, unless you are into Ultimate geekness. A Volt gauge will let you know if your alternator is keeping up or not. I want to add some aftermarket gauges to my syncro and was wondering what you volks have installed? My air coooled van has oil pressure, oil temperature, cylinder head temperature, and a voltmeter. Any of these gauges unneeeded on a water cooled van? Anyone running any other gauges? Ammeter? Water pressure? Thanks, Chris |
