Has anyone out there gone FROM Amsoil to dino oil? I ran Amsoil in my '90 Fox for years and want to clean it out (it's been sitting for a year due to a tranny problem) and ressurect it, and don't want to continue the hassle of looking for Amsoil at oil changes. I recall that when I went from conventional oil to amsoil I was supposed to use Amsoil's proprietary engine flush. Could I just use Gunk or some such engine flush to make the reverse switch? If I can't get the Fox back into driveable condition, I might want to rebuild the engine to put in the Vanagon some day...
