<DIV></DIV>>I used to be a man's man when it came to sticking my hands into any solvent,
<DIV></DIV>>detergent or chemical compound that modern science could create. TSP? Hell,
<DIV></DIV>>I would bathe in it. Once, in a pinch, I got my hands sparkling clean with
<DIV></DIV>>Comet cleanser, although, they looked like alligator skin for a week
<DIV></DIV>>afterwards. Lacquer thinner, enamel reducer, mineral spirits, MEK, kerosene,
<DIV></DIV>>gasoline, denatured alcohol, chlorine bleach, Goop, GoJo and anything else
<DIV></DIV>>alkaline, acidic or petroleum were all fair game to me. But, now, sad to
<DIV></DIV>>say, I find myself looking for the ultimately flexible and tough pair of
<DIV></DIV>>gloves.

<DIV></DIV>>The physicians say I am suffering from dishotic exzema. I think it might
<DIV></DIV>>have been an extended relationship with Castrol Superclean that drove the
<DIV></DIV>>final nail into my dermatological coffin. As with any chronic malady, with
<DIV></DIV>>care I can make it go away but, I damn well better not even wash the pots for
<DIV></DIV>>my Sweetheart or I will be right back to where I was. So, all you hale and
<DIV></DIV>>hearty souls or there, take care because your self abuse can catch up with
<DIV></DIV>>you.
<DIV></DIV>>
<DIV></DIV>>One of the best ways I found to clean my grubby hands used to be to wash a
<DIV></DIV>>load of dishes by hand.
