That's odd. When I was a retailer, the Interstate Battery distributor
used one, literally, on every top post battery he handled.


YMMV, I guess.  I've used one for nearly forty years an have yet to
damage a battery.  Guess I'm just lucky.


I agree about the virus distribution software though.
