Subject: Help! BA-6 quit!
Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed

The faithful BA-6 heater in my '81 Vanagon quit working yesterday. I can hear the swtitch relay working, and the blower motor comes on, but the heater never ignites. I poked around under the dash, and found the saftey swtich to be in deplorable (we're talking fire-hazard) condition. I'm assuming this is the source of my problem? Should I also replace the flame switch? I have the Bentley manual, but it's not a whole lot of help here. Also, I live in OK, and there's NO WAY my FLIAPS has parts for this thing. Where can can I buy a new switch? TIA-

JJ '81 Vanagon Transporter
