I've dealt with Buslab before, and i know they are good people really interested in getting your van to work (within the confines of running a business, of course). Both Marco and Steve are swell guys. They are indeed willing to rebuild my short block, but i've decided to screw it up myself and give the rebuild a try. If you are in the fremont, CA area, you are welcome to stop by and check things out/help out if you want :-). I probably will be swinging by their place to have them check my work, though... If you are going for a straight rebuild, these guys seem to have plenty of experience for that. But in terms of little hop-ups to a waterboxer, they havn't done much besides install slightly bigger pistons, so they aren't very good at giving input on that level. Give them a call (or stop by... their shop is still fairly nice and clean :-) at: The Buslab 2036 Blake Street, Berkeley, CA 510-841-6400
