Subject: Ful Injector Pintle caps (hats) needed ASAP, where to get?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Hi all. The "lurker extrodinare" Mike here. I dropped one of my digifant Bosch fuel injectors this morning. I broke the plastic. Life is not good. I checked with a few list vendors, the dealer, and some fuel injection shops here in central Georgia. No one sells them.

No one has herd of getting just the plastic cap (called a "hat" or pintle cap). I once had Bosch FIs cleaned for a Ford, and the shop replaced the caps with new ones. So somewhere they're out there. I can't reach anyone at the shop. I also can't find ANY junked Vanagons here in Georgia to grab a used FI. I'm unemployed at the moment and trying to keep costs down so I would prefer not to purchase a new FI.

Any suggestions? I want to take the van out of state on Thursday so I need to work quick. Anyone know of a source for these?!!

Thanks again! Mikey (`87 Westy)
