Well, now that I have a few minute, here is the history: I purchased the Syncro with 110,000 miles on it and the engine had been replaced at about 8,000 miles previously. The engine oil looked like it had 8,000 miles on it also. GEX sticker and plate on the block confirmed it was almost new rebuild. Since then I have changed the oil every 3000 miles. It had high pressure buzzer going off the first summer I had it. I curred this by running 20-50 and changing several parts in the cooling system to bring the temp. down to below the LED. A year ago more pressure problems after an oild change to Mobil oil. I changed out the oil, to another brand, seams to had fixxed the problem, thur last winter and the summer. Have used 20-50 weight thru last summer. Now I changed oil again same problems. This oil change I put in 2 qrts of 10-40 and 2 qrts of 20-50 since the extreme cold temp. It now has 75000 miles on the rebuild, head gaskets are leaking, and can be causing a higher temp. Timing it advanced, and could also be causing heat problems. I think that installing straight 20-50 oil may have bought me some time, but not a few years. This is what I was thinking last year, so the engine should have been dead by now? What bugs me is I've change this oil every 3000 miles! I can document each and everyone. If this engine is bad, it was bad from the day I got it! Eric
