White smoke is most likley coolant from a cracked head and blue smoke would be oil. I have seen vans that have given off puffs of blue smoke in hard turns as it turns out the intake guides where gone and when the oil sloshed into the valve covers the intake vacuum sucked in the oil past the bad valve guide
